Long Kiss Goodbye

It’s soft and gentle
Not at all what I expected
The initial reaction
Left just a fraction
Of retreat
The body is more than meat?
It’s throbbing again
It’s boiling in
It can’t stop now
It doesn’t know how
It’s so sharp
But it sets you apart
The pain isn’t bad
It instead feels good
I’m definitely a fan
But we don’t know if we should
What do we do?
What do we say?
When do we act?
Can I kiss you today?
The answers are here…
We continue with patience and an open mind
We tell each other what we want to say and what we’ve felt
We act when we feel the time is right
We kiss when you go the other ten percent
