Even though I specify a hundred mile radius on Christian Mingle,
I get replies from all over from men that are lonely and single.
I am not really interested in a long distance romance.
How do you know if you have any chemistry with an online dance?
Usually I don’t return long distance messages or winks.
When I have a few times their response made me rethink.
Several have said on the first contact that they would relocate.
It makes me wonder, are they looking for money, or a soulmate?
Against my better judgement recently I did fall for a guy’s line.
He travelled several hours to meet me, and we went out three times.
However, I became suspicious, and I ran him through Been Verified.
The results were shocking, and left me terrified.
He was a convicted felon- an ex-con arrested 20 times for grand theft.
How did my judgement go so far to the left?
I cut off all contact, and swore off long distance romance.
