Long Days, Cold Nights

When days are long
And nights feel cold
I wrap myself
In days of old

As dreams passed by
Part of me died inside
I'm yearning to be free
From mental suicide

All those city streets
I thought paved in gold
Are material things
I"ll never hold

Time to open my eyes
Life has no second tries
Take in the world outside
Before it passes by

No, this is not the end
Not time to say goodbye
Time to begin again
And let my demons fly
