Long and Short
Some day
One day
Any day and
Every day
I’ll be here
Loving you.
A love which
Makes no sense
To most
Is nothing if not
Beautifully logical
To me.
A love which
They would
Have us hide
Shall have
In part
A shaded past
But later
It will thrive.
A love which
Will defy
The clock
Which will negate
The test
Of time
Shall run on
But not out
Regardless
And always.
