Long Ago, Today

Remember when we used to be,
doing things, we couldn’t see?
The many hours that we spent,
saying things that couldn’t have been.
And once again, when we’re alone,
we’ll talk of things we’ve never known.
As how it was, or used to be,
and what will be, for you and me.
