Breathless, like summer’s light Erasing the night, reassuring Souls with vibrant hues – so bright Dreams stirred to life during Joyous moments filled with insight It is in the whispers of these times While laughter rains soft, resembles Speaking hope into the rhymes, Stirring wonder so alive it trembles Peace that slows down lifetimes Feeling the zest of inspiration so striking The wise spirit leaves the past, those years Brilliant and tender, silence spiking Wiping away the lonely, wistful tears Going beyond elation or liking Deepening the relationships, the love Blowing kisses, tasting of spices Warming as the soul who abides above Brought to life by the gentling devices Found inside those He takes hold of Hues of breathless energy falling all around Those hearts who regret the shadows Yet come away with glistening wonder found Penetrating the dark with a believing we know Will quiet fears, bringing reservations to the ground Each worry, every doubt – is hushed By the One who makes a way For the anxiety and pain to be crushed In His word, He reminds hearts to pray Believing in His kingdom is slow and unrushed This is the grace that grows truer Never fading away, it fills the life With the promise that we who’re His beloved, won’t know the strife That comes to every wrongdoer And, His light will never fade to gray He will write our stories in the skies Thanks to Him, we will not go astray His spirit abides – His love will baptize… Dreams and prayers – in hope that will stay In the heavens, where we will go After this life is over and we know The joy of coming home to show Him - that His blood will always flow… Through the veins of those who owe Everything to the One who saved us long ago!
