Lonesome Won'T Win

I look upon these shores of yore
I imagine not what is in store
I gather my heart, what pieces I keep
My soul yearns not, I will not weep

Lonesome won't win my mind away
I feel uncertain, carried far away
Wishing for days brighter won't help me now
I depend upon the Lord, I'll get through somehow
