Loner Ways In These Lonerdays

Living it day by day.
Living with the rest of the world.
A world strange in an obvious way.
Strange for it cannot see
Will we all fail to see.
The ones who bleed.
Bleeding on our doorstep.
Needles in their forecept.
Some may be poor.
Some may be lame.
Some me be junkies.
But were all the same.
If my words go nowhere in your mind.
Then im sorry to waste your time.
But the things i spurt from this debatable mind.
Are things we come to see in time.
Ive been around.
Here and there.
Ive seen things some couldnt bare.
The world is all around us.
Some will go to court for a seat on a bus
We sit and have the nerve to discriminate.
Becuase its the color of ones skin that we hate.
Becuase they have their own problems.
Bigger than someone elses.
Some have problems with drugs.
And some have been forced into the life of thugs.
But its not becuase they are lowly or less than some other guys.
For you dont know what they have seen with their eyes.
Maybe they were a victim of rape.
So they cant live without pain.
Some things just cant be fixed with nails and tape.
But go ahead and judge someone alone.
Becuase they are the same as you.
They have problems of their own.
So you can go ahead world and live in your ways.
Ill just ignore it and walk away.
Ill be alone in these lonerdays.

This poem reminds me of me. I may be young, but I've been through a lot.
