Lonelyman

Before the sun rises
He opens both eyes
Settling with a breath
Gazing up toward Northern skies
Clouds,o'er this bed
Smiling back and petting his head

"Let Me talk to my one & only God
before this lonely day is done"

He wants me to see
Beyond selfishness or misery
Be kind to the wicked as well
Treat everyone with respect
There is much more of Heaven
than just Lucifer's fiery Hell

The Lonely are pretty
Whistle their song
So clear as the Choir Bell
