Lonely Wind

How lonely art thou 'O winter wind thou solitary traveler bringing naught but ice and snow with thee 'O harbinger of desolation thy gray skies casting their shroud chastising the sun that it might never again let its warmth fall upon the earth leaving only a bleak and barren landscape in thy wake. Travel on thou agent of despair that once more might the land be reborn and that the streams might again flow freed from thy bitter grasp That the sun might be allowed to shine anew calling forth the trees and flowers to blossom and bloom transforming that which was dead and frozen into a world teeming with new life a world made all the more beautiful by thy handiwork My thanks to you 'O winter wind and may you travel this way again Kevin Ryan Duncil
