Lonely Search of Words
THE LONELY SEARCH OF WORDS
Innate tremendous splendor dwells delicate in words
Soaring past all visions --- wilder than the shade of sky borne blue--
No trilling birdsong that I have ever heard,
No surrogate-- can surpass the abstract elegance that I pursue.
Each night my bold dreams promise that I will find
Kindred lips whisp'ring words I long to hear--
But--waking fear my restless hungry mind
Dooms me bathed in isolation--my sole companion fear.
