Lonely Mind

Bring in the September mist, My thoughts are drowning from the fog. The feeling of pretending you're not alone, When your lonely mind is all that it sees. Desperate words whispered in the air, for all not to care. My lonely mind was once filled with peace and harmony, Now it's just filled with torment and grief. A lonely mind is worse than the feeling of being physically alone. You can be totally alone but feel totally lonely. That's when you know nobody's really there.
