Lonely Man

Severed arms reaching
Eyes pleading
Sat in the dirt forever needing
Beggar is his name
People have no shame
Forgotten in life
Forever in strife
Lonely man where do you belong?
Known unto God

A lonely picture, that is seen daily, and some turn away. I try to help when I can, It seems you are a man who would do the same. One person can't do everything but maybe if many people do a little it will change the world.

Thank you, Casarah. You would think in this day and age that this side of things would improve, sadly it doesn't. Even in first world countries it is prevalent. Regards, Colin.

So true, those of us that have the means should help those who don't! All acts of kindness are good, no matter how small!

I wish all people would think like that, Arthur. You are a man to be praised. Regards, Colin.

What a great write, some people may have karma, some are born to a life with none at all, even karma is like gold for some. This is a very insightful poem, loved it.

Thank you, Arthur. Yes, karma is like gold, but we can make things better. All we can do is try. Regards, Colin.
