Lonely Little Dim Cloud

Clouds of loneliness Emptiness surrounds us all Grey lining around That lonely little dim cloud I worry being alone

We're under the same dark cloud. If you are really lonely, Russell, send me your number and maybe I can make you laugh. A very meaningful tanka, my friend. There are quite a few of us who feel this way. I think Francine will love your poem! Best wishes in the contest. Love, Carolyn

Excellent poetry my friend. You truly captured the essence of the feeling. Nice word choices to bolster it like worry, emptiness, and grey. That having been said, grey looks an awful lot like silver and there is usually one of those linings in the clouds too :). Best of luck in Francine's contest, and thanks for the kind words on my poetry.
