Lonely

fog embraces me
with infinite tenderness
rain falls in my heart
the soul pulls the mantle close
life can be a soft grey sleep

Oh, that last line just melds with the rest of your lines so beautifully. Very nicely done!

The images are so tender and exquisite that you can see and feel the soul pulling the 'mantle' gently over as the heart is lulled into a gentle 'grey sleep':) A 7 Amitiés
