Lonely
Sometimes I just feel
I want to be single
for the rest of my life
because of how many
times my heart has been broken
At other times I feel so lonely
I wish I had someone to hold me
Give me kisses on a rough day
Say, “I love you forever and always”
Someone to live out my days with
I know people say you have
your family and friends
But even when they are
around I get that feeling
of loneliness
I want to feel what they feel
Feel that feeling of being loved
by the one you will spend
the rest of your life with
At this point in my life
I doubt that will ever happen
So a loner is what I will
be for the foreseeable future
