Loneliness Is the Enemy

Memories rewind those distant joys,
That plague your mind again.
When you dwell in those thoughts,
You hurt your family and friends.

Solitude has you pondering,
That suicide has better odds.
So change the way you think and live,
And put your trust in God.

Don’t choose a permanent solution,
For a temporary problem.
List your regrets and past pains,
And try your hardest to resolve them.

The pain of daily living,
Seems unbearable to bear.
So find someone to talk with,
To release what’s hidden in there.

Your life is way to precious,
To end it way to soon.
Your future may look cloudy,
From the way your thoughts are strewn.

Find that little faith,
To turn this all around.
And remember you can confide in us,
Whenever you are down!

We are all here for you,
And happiness is the key.
Spend more time with other’s
Because, loneliness is the enemy.

Yeah, thanks for stopping by. I think you hit a slump back then, and I wrote this to show that we all feel this way at times. It all can be steered into a different direction if we choose to head into it. :)

Plus sunshine, exercise, and proper diet plus a hobby that gets away from what is creating the thoughts. Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara
