Notes About The Poem

this like the others today i found in a notebook from my college poetry class

Loneliness Is a Stale Donut

Loneliness is a stale donut
Forgotten and left in box
For how many days now?
How many days!
Takes as self-pity
Eating the donut it tastes like pain
And sickness rising in my throat
For I remain and the box I throw out
