Loneliness

I tried not to regress from the feelings of helplessness, to withdraw
within myself

Feelings of hopelessness and despair, trying to be aware and not to
stare through the empty window with blackness abound

Recesses of thoughts scrambling thru my brain, while trying to maintain
some semblance of stability

Why oh why must this keep happening to me
I am trapped within my own thoughts and miseries

Who will release me from this sheer insanity, pieces of mind trying to climb out of
the depths of despair

Will I cease to exist in my own walls of loneliness
Just to want to be without misery and stress, while trying to digress the rest
of the best not to feel helpless

Are you out there, somewhere, unaware, of my potential ability to be me
funny and smart, witty, and charming no need to be alarmingly to me

To wonder where I've been all of his life, he wants me to be his wife
The best of the best, don't need the rest, to peace and calm, his soothing balm

Please, release, relief, but not to be brief, no senseless loss, no coin to toss
no need for a boss, or to be false

To come together as one, not to be outdone, as we run to love at long last
we've escaped from the past, not to re-hash, the echoes and haunts from the
past, and we know too that this will last
