Loneliness

I woke up this morning I was all alone The one from midnight had flown away to a land of mysteries I stared at blank walls Cursed the silent crickets I imagined myself to float over harbors festooned in her colors Then I knew what to do Since you won’t come I must go alone to the quiet of your breath ringing in my ears

Wow! Wondrous and beautiful, intimate with lovely imagery and melancholy mood. Your last two lines are quite evocative of your togetherness.., very nicely done. A captivating write that I so enjoyed this evening Braimah :)
