Loneliness

Loneliness is often avoided Like the plague. We would do anything Not to be alone. Even if it means compromising & Staying with a fool or a drunken dim wit Or a useless tool. And yet when life thrust it upon you, It’s not so bad. In the peace and quiet, You find yourself. Every piece of you reconnecting, Giving confidence & love. Loving yourself, the greatest love, that you can give. For loneliness is a path to you. Not as scary a one imagined.
