Loneliness

Licorice language lead the way
Onyx thoughts that go astray
Neon smells from melodic memories
Emerald tales of what was meant to be
Lavender hankie folded so neat
Inside a pocket it smells so sweet
Never could use it for anything
Except for fond memories it brings
Soft lips that sip kisses and cling
Suddenly looking back is to dream
