Loneliness

LONELINESS

You don’t have to be alone
Loneliness can chill you to the bone.

Loneliness can come day or night
It makes you so blue unable to fight.

You can be by yourself
Feeling alone on a shelf.

In a group, you laugh out loud
Hiding your cries from the crowd.

Best way to change the situation
Rip down your own bastion.

Become a friend to those who need one
One that will appreciate feeling like they won.

Lonely people are everywhere
Desire to help and be there.

Provide help instead of demanding it
Developing the skill will take a bit

The more souls you touch and reach
Will help you feel like a peach.

Good luck on your journey
The trip will make you healthy.

Powerful and true words. So many times we hide our loneliness in the stuff.

Robert, your rhyme is powerful and true. For years I put on a mask of happiness now I write my sorrow. Well done.

Robert, this is totally true. "In a group, you laugh out loud Hiding your cries from the crowd". A psychological masterpiece.
