Loneliness

My heart has gone afoul Compelling me this way, Believing that I was immune Proving much to my dismay. Distressed and unaware As to what this may imply, I sought divine direction Hoping that I could deny, The nature of these feelings Bringing woes onto an end. And bring me forth to safety Forcing havoc to a fend. Unfortunate the answer Heaven’s messengers convey, For in light it is the truth Though it‘s much to my dismay, It appears my heart has fallen For a beauty from above, Whose visage makes me quiver At the notion of her love, And so I am perplexed The course of action to partake, For either choice I opt for My soul do I forsake.
