Locked Out

I locked myself out of my house
And also out of my car
It wasn’t the brightest thing I’ve done
Not the brightest thing by far.

I called my mom and daddy,
Thank God I have them still
I asked them if they could please
Unlock my house if they will.

They drove about eighty miles
They had the only spare key
They wouldn’t do it for just anyone,
But they did it just for me.

Yep, I locked myself out of my house
But my parents came to rescue me.
I got spare keys made, so the next time I do it,
I can leave my poor old parents be!
