Lockdown
Four months in lockdown
What have I done?
I’ve made my way back to God
Through Jesus the son
I’ve found him again
Oh what a delight
Into this present darkness
He’s shone his great light
I’ve read books of the bible
I’ve prayed and I’ve cried
I’ve made my way back
To the one I’d denied
He’s shown me his mercy
He’s accepted me back
And he’s shown me that through him
There’s nothing I’ll lack
His promises I’ll treasure
His word I will own
Because through this lockdown
His great love I have known
