Chuckled right out loud when I read this one. I'm sorry you missed the contest. This one would have been a sure winner. It's a winner anyway for the delight it gave me today. Thank you for sharing it and for your kind comment. Karen

Great Limerick that stands alone and there probably will be another someday. Keep the creative pen flowing. Isn't that the way that life seems sometimes we want to be what we are not and can never be but would really make a great who we be. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work. Sara

Sue, I'm sorry you missed the contest too. The entries came in quickly and it closed Sunday. Your limerick is terrific and I wish I had received it as an entry! Love, Carolyn

Very nice Limerick, Sue! A pity that you missed the contest. Yes, kibbutz-life nowadays is different. I think when I was there I really had a good time and met so many new friends from all over the world. One Japanese guy was also writing poems, a pity that I lost his address. The wall is a different chapter. We used to go to Gaza once in a while -I bought tea and Arabic coffee there. This would be impossible now. Thank you for your comment...Keep writing! Gert
