Lobo

A lone wolf cries into the night
It's lonely sad sound echoes through the night
Sad and alone he wanders the hillside
Searching for his mate who is no longer at his side
His cry pierces through the darkness
It touches my heart for I feel his loneliness
My brother the Lobo and I are alike you see
We both search for the love we need
And so we search without rest
It has become our life's quest
As I sit by the firelight
My brother Lobo comes into sight
By my side he will stay
Until the darkness comes to another day
Our quest will never be complete
Until we find the mates we seek
Rest now Lobo until darkness falls
