lLittle Bird

The time has come the walrus said, to speak of birds with wings
who sit upon a shattered nest, fearing Nature's call.

Be no lomnger nest bound,
that'a not where you belong.

Fly away little bird
from the barren North,
through the darkest night of all,
through the surging storm,
across the boiling sea

Live free, unbounded,
be a bird,
sing the song you were meant to sing.
