Lleda's Thoughts
LLeda's bronzed fingertips
gently brushed the onyx wisps
of hair from her furrowed brow
times of yesteryear now
flirting with her thoughts;
mingled like grapevines, caught
between fantasy, and reality, remains
a lifetime of her dreams scattered
as broken glass from a windowpane
Such childish games... Yet, unshattered
is her brain, and the heart which keeps her sane
Clearing the vines and glass
A beacon of light does flash
As LLeda's bronzed fingertips
gently brushed the onyx wisps
of hair from her once furrowed brow
