Lizzy

You were ours and kept us entertained
For hours and hours
In a box you sat
Happy and smiling

Eyes so yellow
They were bright
But I did but worry
You were slight

In Cupboards you sat
While we did chat
But you really enjoyed all of that

The Christmas tree
Filled you with glee
And you really did
Love a dreamy or three.

Even though you are gone and you were not here
For long
You really did know where you belong.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
