Living With Uncertainty, Chaos and Corruption

The world is constantly changing
People are steadily rearranging
Life seems to be a gigantic nightmare
Keep moving, but never getting there

This country was built on the backs of slaves
Our ancestors buried in unmarked graves
Brought to a foreign land against our will
Never given the opportunity to learn a skill

A peaceful and moral People removed from their history
Yet, today we still try to understand the mystery of the tragedy
We’ve been dismissed and forgotten, for four hundred years
The pain, abuse, and mistreatment has formed rivers of tears

Placed our faith in a forgiving God
Cast our prayers on bending knees
In this current day, we’re still paying the costs
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will cometh in the morning

I often ask myself, what have we done to deserve the disrespect and hatred
Some people say associate with your own kind
I say, God's purpose for humanity is coexisting together
The ability to be a free thinker, opens up possibilities of exploration

Imagination is the cornerstone of change
That which will seem, not so strange
Life is just a twinkling of the eye
Use your time wisely and constructively, before it passes you bye

Why is the world’s population so consumed with confusion?
Probably because there's a fear of outside intrusion
People are so caught up in their own bubbles
Choosing to be closed off from trouble

Society is a large metaphysical and scientific experiment
Never examining the false analysis of an unconfirmed result
People operating in a microcosm of individual perspectives
There's no concern or interest for the care of your neighbors

Unfettered, disruptive chaos, is being jammed down our throats
People with uncaring hardened hearts, simply stand and gloat
Systems created for order, guidance and leadership are mostly corrupt
The strength of the mind is susceptible to brainwashing

Some churches are caught up in the distortion of God's word
There's only one true interpretation of the exigency of the word of life
We don't live in a vacuum of silos, that will surely lead us into an abyss
Time is near, closer than we know or expect it to be

God is the one and only true breath of life on this earth and beyond
Treat people the way you want to be treated, show love and give love
Tomorrow is not promised, so live your best life right now, by example
Because once the trumpet sounds, there will be no second chance or do over

Uncertainty permeates worry, stress, anxiety, and a unstable foundation
When you recognize cracks in your armor, repentance is the glue that seals
Prayer warriors are our intercessors to the Father
Use abundantly, the blessing of prayer, as the answer for this turmoil in the world

Corruption in the world is blatant and in your face
Remove yourselves from those shiny object spaces
Let your understanding of right and wrong, be your standard bearer
Open your mind to the choices of information, being clearer

Trials and tribulations, hardships and unforced errors are the ingredients of living
Why are these relevant thoughts being shared?
Simply to bring to the forefront the perpetration of evil in the world
Keeping our voices silent, makes each of us complicit co-conspirators

We must ask the question, what did I contribute to this situation?
None of us are living on an isolated island
Chances are, the cause and effect of any circumstance rest at our doorstep
Re-evaluate and Reexamine the steps you take in life

You can be assured, if you allow God the freedom to order your steps in this world
So much violence committed against the weak and vulnerable among us
God says in His word, whatever you do to the least of these, you do also to Him
Let those words sink into the depths of your consciousness of comprehension

Why can't we all be our brothers keeper?
As my mother use to say, you can attract more bees with honey, than you can with vinegar
In other words, love conquers all and the world needs more of that resource
Empathy, compassion, sympathy and understanding the plight of others can be transformative

We are all responsible for and accountable for the actions we take
Just because you don’t agree with a consensus response
Doesn’t give you open season to attack your fellow citizens
Violence proves nothing, only increases and sustains the dysfunction

As cultural insensitivities are engaged in a cold civil war
Many members in Congress are okay with this act, based on partisanship
Half of the country’s population has lost its spine of courage
Based on a major disconnect of abject disagreement

While I ponder the ineffectiveness of a one size fits all methodology
We have to understand and hopefully accept other perspectives
Uncertainty is a mirage, prone to visual hallucinations
Global strife and misdirection are prevalent across the world

Life is like a switch and bate magic show
Never being sure of what’s real and factual
Information being disseminated through alternative news sources
Different generations, too unconcerned to activate their own research

Gaslighting is the mental drug of addiction, to propel the hook
Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM), is a solution of reason
Agree or disagree with different opinions, your decision
The context of these thoughts is not advocating for sameness

Positivity is the catalyst to an unabridged sense of negativity
Showing kindness and love to your neighbors is the death of hatred
Ideally the world would be a much better place if it were perfect
Let these words marinate in your psyche of consideration
