Living Too Long

Walking & roaming the streets, Dazed. Pondering on breathing- Mindless, Half does not equal into understanding, Making since. Not enough bottles of pain reliever for the brain, Sold on drug store counters. Been journeying far beyond it seems at time, Coming up with this warp thinking- 2+2=4; When work & life does not give, Than I wonder what is wrong, Nevertheless, Remaining silent, Who hears me anyway? Questioning is given this answer, "Get back in line." At the end, Work & life catches up with the someone who gave the answered nine- I smile & say inside me, "It wasn't I! Four was my answer all along." See! I lived the nine, Yester-mistakes; Incorrect caught me everytime. Following what's being said? Never mind, Look at it as if I have been living too long-
