Living Together

Living together

The white paper
Wants me to leave it blank;

The mind
Wants me to leave it to rest;

The pen
Wants me to leave it to sleep;

The heart
Wants me to leave it to peace;

But that poetry
The blazing fire
And that flowing tears
Would not leave me;

And it’s fusing with letters
And articulating herself
As divine song of sky
And liberating itself
And moving out to touch the lives
Waiting for its cuddle;

Now I myself am a hostage
In the matrix of that poetry;

If I don’t let her live
My breath leaves me;

And if I don’t let her fly
I will be a vain thought
Losing my beautiful breath;

And I will be a human bird
Handicapped with broken wings;

Now I’m afraid of her
For her authority on my life
Because if I don’t submit to her
My life has no sense;
