Living the Rainy Day

Creeping clouds dissolve on the grey misty ground, rains slant on the trail of surging waves of torrent. You feel the sliding sky is falling on you and seek protection under an open umbrella you carry for its multi-colors match your mind’s hue. The transient colors melt in the teary rains of sorrow, flow like a stream of tinted emotions, meandering on the washed out pathway you travelled aimless to where you’re in the midst of nowhere on a rainy day. With the mind drained out you stand desolate, the solitude of the rain-soaked day fills the void with the promise of the rising crystalline horizon reflecting the last tinge of the departing day that you’d want to seize and live the moment painting the rain-rinsed mind once again where emotions will be colored by the rainbow.
