Living the Dream

I’m living the dream;
so grateful am I
for mountains around me,
green grass and blue sky.

Not all are so lucky
to have things they need:
great friends, food, and a home.
Wanting for more leads to greed.

As long as we still have love in our hearts we should be grateful for what the lord has provided us with. I always said "No matter how bad I've got it, somebody out there has it a lot worse". Congratulations on your win, Andrea. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Charlie

To turn away from wanting more is how we learn to be grateful for. The things we have and our needs met. It free's us from wanting what we can't get. For when we learn this valuable lesson. There's no need for a thief confessin'. :)

Yes, gratitude for ones life is the opposite of status seeking social climbers who can never have enough. I really like this. Just so you know. There's never a rush to respond to any comment I make. I understand life is busy. I apologize for leaving this here but I boycott social media like Facebook, so I couldn't leave this on your wall.

don't worry, I could not care less about this "wall" and in fact, I do not even understand how it works!!

Very nice Andrea. Its always nice to have everything you need. Wants are a different story. You have to work toward them in a different way. Thanks for sharing this
