Living the Dream

My soul has been sleeping for quite some time,
I dreamed about dreams that were lost for a while.
I was vanished by fear and felt nightmare in my life
There are moments of renunciation that painted me black.
God sent an afterglow allowing me to see His bright lights
I’m now wide awake with hopes and I’m ready to fight.
This is my chance of living my dreams that were lost long ago
I won’t fall asleep and let my dreams be dreams
I don’t want to lose control and fall two times more
Be prepared in battles like have never seen before
Life may be as unkind as Freddy Krueger
But that won’t rip off my conquest of fulfillment
I may live to stumble over and over again
Yet I will live to rise and put smile on my face
I may live to suffer with nothing at all
But I will be living my dreams…
I will live once more!
