It's not that I miss you You've been gone too long Not that I'm still mourning Though tears are still strong Not that I stopped loving you My love it stays the same Not that I'm lonely My comfort is your name But if I could see you My eyes would be whole If I could hear you To your voice my ears would belong If I could reach you With a satisfied touch If my giving could greet you And tell of my feelings so much Sometimes I drift In my immaginary land Sitting beside you Holding your hand Singing a melody And being your man Give you things that are lock up that only the living can have
