Living Pond

Whiter shades of blue, I reflect Above birds fly on my broad radar Wonder, who imitate them afar Below, from the mirror, perfect Images of all seasons I'm keen to collect Alive I am, within my calm depths Ample air, I provide for life’s breaths Shades of evil hues, I try to deflect Pond, small, ill shaped I may be A job prime, yet I assign to myself Recharge I free, those who come to seek An uplifting, glowing aura surrounds me Kind nature never miser to renew itself Am ever willing to reflect its blessed mystique Date: 9.7.2014 Sonnet- 14 lines (4,4,3,3) Rhyme (abba abba cde cde)
