Living Poet's Community

I've always loved to ponder, read
                      Poems of poets most long deceased
                           But now I bask quite literally
                           This Living Poet community

                        I still love Ernest Hemmingway
                       And Emily's pen won't fade away
                         But I am truly blessed to see
                        The pen still flows victoriously

                         I have so many tasks to do
                       So I cannot stay long, its true
                      Within  this glorious wonderland
                     Of Living poets at pen's command
                   
                    But while I'm basking in each write
                    So oft impressed, filled with delight
                       Upon the newest poems I drift
                    Oceans of words, each poem a gift

                         Carried along upon the tide
                                 To 'New Poems'
                                 I'll awhile abide
                         Upon a fine glittering shore
                               Of poets  never
                                  read before
                               
                          Sadly cannot too long stay
                              'Poems - Best New'
                               'Poem of the Day'
                                   Then again 
                                  I float  away

                  My dear old books are growing dusty
                      Metal tipped pens almost rusty
                     I'm caught within a site on web
                 Where flow of fresh poems do not ebb!

                       Painted scenes and imagery
                  With words that flow out endlessly
                        Keep me filled contentedly
                     Within this sweet community
