Living Like Thoreau

He lived in his own way with his own rule book
Thoreau needed only a bit of paper and a sharp pen
We admired his woods, his violets, his bubbly brook
Moving me to the country? Please tell me when.

What a delightful little verse on Thoreau, Caren. Deb and I went to visit his cabin in the woods when we were in New England. The cabin is gone, but there is a special stone there marking the place at Walden Pond.
