Living Joy

“The purpose of life is to care for life.”

For what am I living
And still living free
In a world to explore
In my own company

If the memories we make
Are the dreams we must share
Then a world full of pain
Is a chance to prepare

For the young and the old
Are the same person twice
And the smile we share
Is a charming device

But the purpose of life
Is the minute you fall
For the joy of success
Is a risk after all

In a moment of time
In a manner above
We are free to do good
In a labor of love

But the fruit of concern
Is the joy in our day
And the caring we give
Is a much better way

If a person is free
When a right choice is made
To be true to oneself
By the notion obeyed

Then a growth comes inside
That is wanting of late
For the choice to be good
Is the chance to be great.
