Notes About The Poem

If you should notice any spelling or grammatical errors...PLEASE...point them out to me, as I am compiling these poems for my new book. Thank you, Emile.

Living Jewels

Feathered dinosaurs evolved into the magnificent birds of today. And flaunting fine flamboyant plumage brought color to earth’s eco systems. Playing lyrical notes with the wind birds serenade us with cheerful songs. And much like prima ballerinas they dance, like sparkling living jewels. As flapping wings rise into the air defying gravity they ascend! And with amassing agility execute the subtleties of flight. Harbingers of both good and evil they enrich our fables and tales. And as unparalleled travelers they've circumnavigated the globe. (Blank Verse) July 17, 2018

Love the detail you include here, Emile. The piece flows smoothly from verse to verse w/o rhyme. I love birdwatching as well as watching the larger bird families in the zoo. Wish I felt like going more often to the zoo; it was so much fun with the grandkids.
