Feathered dinosaurs evolved into
the magnificent birds of today.
And flaunting fine flamboyant plumage
brought color to earth’s eco systems.
Playing lyrical notes with the wind
birds serenade us with cheerful songs.
And much like prima ballerinas
they dance, like sparkling living jewels.
As flapping wings rise into the air
defying gravity they ascend!
And with amassing agility
execute the subtleties of flight.
Harbingers of both good and evil
they enrich our fables and tales.
And as unparalleled travelers
they've circumnavigated the globe.
