Living For Giving and Forgiving
Passion to me is more than an art or action;
Living a life and leaving a life… for God
others and yourself too… entails emotion.
Spend time and treasure… and wise words.
From childhood, I have got my mind made up
to go for one goal- I will never turn back until
giants and ants are in a bond and can’t break up
and kids and kings learn to love and not steal and kill.
Whenever I’m sleeping, this is my dearest dream;
I see all men playing the golden game for one goal,
not making one another sweat, scared or scream
but soothing one another’s spirits and… soul
I try to write righteous rhymes and rhapsodies
warning the wicked… to shun his woeful way;
I try to pen poems mixed with immortal melodies
Reminding the rotten of the Lord’s dreadful day.
I try to- forgive the faults of the fellow on the floor,
lend a helping hand to the slow and the sick;
give golden grains to the peasants and the poor,
and sing songs of succor to the weary and the weak.
