Living By the Day

I close my eyes
Awaiting the roll of dice
Don’t know
Where heading
Ultimately lives shattered
Or happy ending
Her thoughts visit
Heart aflutter
The overshadowed mind
A warning mutters
I too know
Nowhere relationship
Doubts come out
Thick, fast and loud
Heart takes over
‘Live today
For tomorrow
Nobody can say’
We continue
Living by the day
Moments happy, joyous and gay

Love it.. I’m a very big believer in living in the moment. I appreciate the value and lessons of the past, but only in relation to how that contributes to the present. And the future is a coming hope but not yet a reality. The “now” is to be lived to the fullest and your write inspires my now.. so grateful for you my dear friend!
