Lived

I don’t know much.
Left my Spanish speaking country
To live in San Francisco when I was one.
Lived there four years before departing en route to Japan,
Another Four years abroad.
Hard to master, let alone speak 3 different languages in such short Time.
Traveled back to my native Peru.
Was having a hard time in school.
Left to Rome,
Lived
Three and a half years before heading to Panama.
Grammar was a becoming a huge problem,
Too many languages, not enough time to learn them properly.
Now back to Peru,
Had to bribe my way to graduate from High School.
Took a year off,
Decided to attend School of Visual Arts in New York.
Lived four years in the “Big Apple”, got married, went back to Peru, Worked and lived in Lima eight years before leaving to Miami.
I’ve been living in the Sunshine State for the past sixteen years with my wife and three kids.
Lived in too many places,
Repeated the word “Lived” too many times,
Because I don’t know much.

This is quite a reality poem for some people who had to move about. I was a military brat myself and was from here to there. I like the flow of the words and the message. Live is packed with learning experiences. I like the tone of the poem and the message. Great job! ~Joseph

A traveling man who experienced many things in his life. Even though you feel you don"t know much your experiences will have taught you many things that you may not realize as yet. I think you know more than most of us who live pretty tame lives. God Bless Phyl

It seems to me Jaime that you have had a very interesting life - I guess it all depends on ones perception of the word "Lived" - God Bless you and your family

Well, I get the impression you are a well traveled man of the world who has really "Lived". And I think you know way more than you are letting on. And I think no one can say the word lived too many times. Haha! Your life is truly fascinating! Wonderful to read. You should share more. Love, Shar
