Live Your Call

To take a stand
and make your mark.
To let thoughts run free.
To prove you’re a man of men
and rightly proud to be.

To shoulder weights
and hold them high.
To right a single wrong.
To bear the cross of them,
the ones, who tag along.

To search the heights
and find yourself.
To feel the joy of love.
To know the source of all
is him, the one above

To see the need
and fill the gap.
To be a friend to all.
To die and know at last,
not least, I lived my call.

Oops! In my previous comment, I didn't meant to spell "soul" like the fish! (I must have been thinking about your poem describing the trained cats and their favorite treats!)
