Live one's I

A small pond reflected full moon
To feel the moon I touched the reflection
It felt like water, it did not feel like moon.

A gust of wind blew through the hill
To feel her speed I breathed slowly
It felt like breathing, It did not feel like wind.

Wearing blue to feel the sky & sea
I realized early, Life & Nature is not
Atomic science but a study of resilience.

Living in a world where all thoughts
Run in parallels, Blanks of youth is
Filled in old age by trust and true love, I see.

Like the moon, wind, sky & sea
I is too vast to be felt by name
I is not all of life, but a play of give and take.

A great poem that illustrates the true understanding of oneself and the nature he serves. It shows the contrast between what is and what one thinks it might be. Well done.

I found myself on the other side of this spectrum of wonder and being of my nature -- I appropriated a smile to see your name. Mahalo, my friend, with your participation in the contest and win, Aloha, William

Your poem is a contemplative and insightful exploration of the human experience, beautifully woven with natural imagery and profound philosophical reflections. It invites the reader to ponder the relationship between perception and reality, and the continuous journey of understanding oneself and the world.
