Live Like a King
Live not for tomorrow but for today,
Dream to fly beyond the purlieu!
Drive through the sunset like today's the end,
Inspire one with your glorious masquerade,
Be a ghostwriter and write beyond yonder.
Be it by sunlight or by candlelight,
Leave a mark on 'morrow to come,
For you're the light that gleams in the dusk,
When poisoned with perfidious lies,
Not give up hope, you must live!
Shed all your missteps, bygone
For clarity you must with earnest, pray
And rule the trials that come your way,
Bow down not to your flaws and shame,
Become worthy of self compassion
Let it not lead to a tragedy,
Choose and tread carefully
Fall in love with a special someone,
Be a bringer of joy to every last one,
For this will fetch you treasures miraculous!
