Live, Laugh, Love

Live with honesty and truth In everything you hope to do. If good things are to come your way Right living paves the way for you Laughter is the best of tonics Applied to all of life's small woes Until they simply fade away. Good riddance to the last of those. Love to live and live to love, On your face a smile at morning's start. Value your good life every day. And keep love flowing from your heart. hi Joyce, nice thoughts here... great message. You lost your structure just a bit... stanza 2 has 5 lines. I say this because your readers will instinctively look for a pattern (especially with rhyming poetry)... and no pattern is fine, but if you start with a pattern as you did in stanza 1, your reader will trip up if you change it and spend more time looking for the pattern than hearing what you have to say (which is excellent) just a thought - Kevin

This is a lovely acrostic Joyce and I love how each stanza is relevant to its initial letters. Just two things though, you're missing your 'E' line on love and an extra 'l' has just sneaked in to 'value'. A super entry for the contest ~ Sharon :)
